I am a lifelong fan and custodian of the B5 S4. Although I’ve owned many Audi’s over the last 3 decades, a new B5 S4, purchased at the end of 1999, began the journey. 20 years later, I acquired another, and thus began the process of restoring and improving my own (and still current) car. In that time, I was fortunate to make great contacts around the world. Those relationships allowed me access to items that previously were either uncommon or nearly impossible to find stateside. This is what Quattroplug was founded on. These cars enjoy a very cult-like following, and are significantly undervalued. As such, many have gone through multiple owners, and questionable ways of “fixing” things. We all know it on sight.

My goal is twofold: to help keep the nice ones as nice as they can be, with the best original and aftermarket parts, and help bring those problem child cases out of the doldrums and into the light that they deserve. When treated correctly, I am a firm believer that these remain one of the best enthusiast cars, at any price point. If I would not use it on my own car, I will not offer it to others. It’s a simple and direct approach that has worked well, and I can proudly say that I can count owners of some of the best examples of these cars around the world, as clients and friends.
